I read about some program changes that happened on January 27, 2026. What were they?
On 1/27, a new Loco Rewards experience was unveiled. You can look forward to:
- New Boosts! providing value throughout the year to all members
- Access to exclusive events, specifically for Loco Rewards members
- An experience that adapts around you
In addition to the above, we also updated our expiration rules around points earned in the program. Beginning 1/27, all points earned in Loco Rewards will expire 180 days after earning. Points to qualify for tiers is also changing, with Pollo now requiring 20,000 points in a calendar year, and Pollo Loco requiring 40,000 points in a calendar year.
With this change, we are excited to extend the following benefits to our Loco Rewards guests:
- Guests have until January 25th to earn their 2026 status, meaning members have an extra 25 days of point earning to qualify for Pollo or Pollo Loco in 2026, under the 2025 requirements
- Status earned in 2025 will be extended through the end of 2027, meaning guests will enjoy earned status for an additional calendar year as a thank you to our members
